Dr. Habib has built a unique practice in Towson, Maryland where she provides individualized attention typically found only in concierge practices which charge premium membership fees. There are no membership fees at Dr. Habib's practice in keeping with her philosophy that personalized care can still be affordable. Dr. Habib's goal is to take the time to truly understand each patient and create care plans tailored to individual needs, lifestyles and long-term goals. Many patients have maintained their partnership with Dr. Habib since they first consulted her over 25 years ago.
How Is Dr. Habib's Practice Unique?
Dr. Habib's practice is unique because while insurance plans are not accepted there are no additional membership fees or other hidden charges. You only pay for services you use. Each visit is billed in accordance with a transparent fee structure and itemized receipts are provided at the time of service for those who wish to submit the charges to their insurance carrier. An estimate can be provided prior to your appointment and you can still apply your insurance or HSA credit card to cover services like lab work, imaging studies, prescriptions and specialist visits. HSA cards can also be used to cover visits. This practice model allows Dr. Habib to focus on a smaller patient panel without the limitations imposed by insurance carriers and offers the following benefits:
Unhurried visits where Dr. Habib has time to listen, evaluate, and collaborate with you to make sure your needs are met.
A dedicated Patient Portal where you can communicate directly with Dr. Habib and staff. Educational materials, lab and imaging orders, referrals, prescriptions, and more can be handled via the portal. You will often hear from Dr. Habib after office hours and on the weekend if you have contacted her in the portal.
Visits can be scheduled in a timely manner, often the same day or same week.
For more urgent concerns a high-priority voicemail system allows patients to leave urgent messages for Dr. Habib and a response can be expected within an hour.
Telehealth visits are available for matters that do not require an in-person examination.
Your care does not end with your visit. Follow-ups are thoughtful and detailed. Dr. Habib personally reviews all test results and partners with you to work towards optimal health outcomes.
If a specialist referral is necessary, Dr. Habib and her team will facilitate a connection with a trusted practitioner from her extensive network.
